Allen, Texas – July 23, 2024 – Lovejoy ISD is proud to announce Cindy Daniels-Dixon as the new Coordinator of the Lovejoy Child Development Center.
Ms. Daniels-Dixon joins Lovejoy with a wealth of experience in early childhood education and a true passion for growing our youngest learners. Over the past 25 years in education, Ms. Daniels-Dixon has served in roles that include: Classroom Teacher, Early Childhood Consultant with Region 10, Coordinator of Family Literacy in Plano ISD, and most recently the Prekindergarten Development Grant Specialist with the Texas Workforce Commission.
Ms. Daniels-Dixon has a Master’s degree in Family Studies from Texas Women’s University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Texas Tech University. She is a certified classroom teacher and experienced educational leader.
Ms. Daniels-Dixon married her husband, Scott, in 2020 and gained 2 children - Sofia (10th grade) and Sam (9th grade). Together they like to hike, go for drives in the country, and host game nights. In her free time she also loves to grow Zinnias.
“With her collective experiences and involvement in early childhood programming, Ms. Daniels-Dixon is poised to carry forth the excellence and growth of the Lovejoy Child Development Center,” said Dr. Laurie Tinsley, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
